2004
A basic aim of the design was the enhancement of the working conditions and of the services provided by a dental surgery already in existence in the limited space of 45 m2. The design included the shaping of the entrance area of the small building, as well as of the surgery. In order to eliminate the feeling of limited space, the approach to the design undertook the breaking up of spaces and unifications of functional parts. In a spirit of experimentation, construction solutions and finishings were tried with a view to dispensing with magnitudes of scale. The lighting was designed in detail, and sources of light were installed behind the furnishings and screenings to achieve an illusion of depth.
