| The residence was designed for a four-member family, for use for vacations, with emphasis upon guest accommodation. The composition of the building was developed on the archetypal 'Γ' shape. The residence is entered by a ramp which is tangential to the body of the building to the point where it enters it. The areas for daily living are on the raised ground floor with direct access to the open-air premises and two bedroom units intended for guests and the family's two children. On the upper floor, a functionally semi-autonomous part of the house, fully exposed to the view, is situated. The building mass recedes and is now laid out only in one direction of the right-angled shape and yields the resultant void / flat surface to the panoramic view. Here the programme includes supplementary living areas and the presence of the main bedroom in its privileged position. |
